Pre- & Post-Ceremony Preparation and Integration

Preparing with intention. Integrating with compassion.

Some experiences can open us to powerful emotions, memories, insights, and new ways of seeing ourselves and our lives. Yet meaningful transformation often involves more than the experience itself. Preparation and integration can provide space to slow down, reflect, and consider how you want to approach what is unfolding.

I offer individualized, integrative support for people preparing for a significant personal ceremony or experience, as well as those seeking support afterward as they make sense of what they have encountered.

My role is to support your preparation, reflection, and integration. I do not facilitate ceremonies or provide substances.

My Approach

With years of experience in sitting in ceremonies and formal training as a:

  • Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD)

  • Board-Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner

  • Yoga and Meditation Teacher

I guide clients through the process of preparation and integrating their ceremony experiences with compassion, structure, and ancient tools tailored to today’s nervous system.

Pre-Ceremony Support

Preparation can help you enter an important experience with greater clarity, intention, and awareness of your internal experience.

Together, we may explore:

  • Your intentions and hopes for the experience

  • Questions, fears, or expectations you may be carrying

  • Emotional and relational patterns that feel important to understand

  • Your strengths and internal resources

  • Grounding and self-care practices that support your well-being

  • How to create space for reflection and integration afterward

The goal is not to control or predict what will happen. It is to help you connect with yourself, clarify your intentions, and approach the experience thoughtfully and responsibly.

Post-Ceremony Integration

Sometimes an experience can feel profound, beautiful, confusing, challenging—or all of these things at once. Insight does not always immediately translate into knowing what to do next.

Integration creates space to gently explore questions such as:

  • What felt meaningful or important about my experience?

  • What emotions or memories are still present?

  • Has anything shifted in how I understand myself or my relationships?

  • What feels different in my body or emotional experience?

  • How can I bring what I learned into my everyday life?

  • What support, boundaries, or practices might help me stay grounded?

Through conversation, reflection, and whole-person practices, we can explore how your experience connects to your life, relationships, body, values, and hopes for the future.

An AEDP-Informed Approach to Integration

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) offers an approach that is grounded in emotional safety, attunement, and the transformative capacity that can emerge when we are able to experience and process emotions with support.

Rather than rushing to interpret or intellectualize your experience, we may slow down and become curious about what is happening emotionally and physically in the present moment. Together, we can create space for the feelings, insights, and experiences that are emerging while staying connected to your strengths and capacity for healing.

This approach can be particularly supportive when an experience has touched something emotionally significant and you are still discovering what it means to you.

An Integrative, Whole-Person Approach

My work recognizes that meaningful experiences can affect us on multiple levels—emotionally, psychologically, relationally, and physically. Drawing from my background in psychology, AEDP-informed experiential support, and my training as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, I offer a compassionate space to explore your experience without rushing to explain, label, or dismiss it.

Together, we can attend to both insight and experience—not only asking What did this mean?, but also What am I feeling? What is happening in my body? What feels important now? The intention is to help you carry what is meaningful forward in a way that is grounded in your actual life and relationships.

You Don't Have to Make Sense of Everything Alone

There is no single “right” way to prepare for or integrate a meaningful experience. Sometimes what is needed is simply a safe, attuned, and grounded space to talk, feel, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

Wherever you are in the process, we can begin there—with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your unique experience.
